Breakfast

Ingredients:

1 cup spinach
1/4 cup cucumber
10 leaves fresh mint
1/2 fresh lime, juiced
1/4 frozen pineapple (or fresh)
1 banana
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder

In a blender combine ingredients with 1 of cup water, and add ice if desired. Blend until smooth, adding more water if needed.

The bright, fresh flavors of mint and lime perk up this smoothie, while banana and pineapple sweeten the taste, making this a delicious treat. The matcha green tea adds antioxidants and a morning pick me up. For an added nutritional boost, mix in 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder.
